Why the MPB was created
Since its inception in 2004, the nationally acclaimed and globally recognized Department of Banking and Insurance has prepared professionals for banking, insurance and financial institutions at home and abroad. The MPB develops the professional skills of unskilled and semi-skilled professionals working in this vibrant field — where acute competition and a shifting global economy have made banking jobs among the most challenging and dynamic.
