Department of Banking and Insurance

It is the only institution in Bangladesh offering an MBA in Banking. Its graduates work across Bangladesh and abroad, and employers have expressed satisfaction with them in the Department's Quality Education Survey. The Department also publishes a double peer-reviewed journal, with DOI, twice a year.

Highlights from the Chairman's message

The Chairman describes his role as an honour and keeps an open-door policy, inviting all stakeholders to raise issues so the Department can progress together. He reviews the Department's record since 2004, from its graduates' careers at home and abroad to positive employer feedback, and reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement.

He credits creative faculty, skilled staff and excellent students, supported by world-standard digital classrooms, a full computer lab, a student creativity club, an active alumni association and the Department's peer-reviewed journal, and closes by saying every stakeholder has reason to be proud.
